Pietro Canonica Museum, Rome
In the Villa Borghese gardens there is the Pietro Canonica Museum, dedicated to the life and work of a great cultural figure. Canonica was not only an artist, but also a composer, a sculptor. For a while there was a house in the building of the present museum. Birds were raised there for the hunt of the Borghese family. Only in the 18th century the building was reconstructed, and in the beginning of the 20th century it was transferred to the Italian artist. After his death, they set up a museum there.
