Museum of the Roman Republic and Memory of Giuseppe Garibaldi, Rome
The Museum of the Roman Republic and Memory of Giuseppe Garibaldi in Rome was opened in 2011 on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the unification of Italy. Here there are relics that were once the property of Giuseppe Garibaldi and his family, as well as exhibits telling about Risorgimento, the national liberation movement of Italians.
Exhibits of the museum
The exposition of the Museum of the Roman Republic and Memory of Giuseppe Garibaldi is divided into two parts.
While observing the first, visitors will learn about the life of military leader Giuseppe Garibaldi and about the movement called Risorgimento, whose goal was the liberation and unification of Italy.
- In the second part of the exposition of the museum, visitors will see information about the division under the command of Garibaldi, about its education and military activities.
- In addition, the museum has an archive, a library and a conference hall. The exhibition is located on four floors. Each room has its own theme. Films, interactive images, video, models, engravings are presented to the attention of visitors.
Exhibitions, celebrations, meetings and many other educational and entertainment events are held in the museum.

The museum is located next to the Mura Gianicolensi stop, to which buses № 115, 870 run.
Opening hours: the museum is open from Tuesday to Friday from 10:00 to 14:00, on weekends until 18:00. Monday is the day off.
