Piazza del Comune, Assisi
The main square of the Italian city called Assisi Piazza del Comune is the center of citizens’ cultural, political and social life. Most valuable architectural monument of medieval times can be found here. Assisi itself is the city of St. Francis. In 2000 it was recognized as a World Heritage site since it’s the best preserved medieval city in Italy. The central part of Assisi boasts ancient palaces, antique temples and other historically significant buildings that are a must-see for every person that visits this place.
