Lequarci Waterfall, Ulassai
Cascate di Lequarci is a waterfall located near the village of Ulassai in the eastern part of Sardinia. Nearest village: Santa Barbara. The width of the waterfall is about 70 m. The streams of water fall from a height of about 72 m. The top of the waterfall is covered with rich vegetation. Cascate di Lequarci itself is a confluence of small sources. In the rainiest seasons, streams fill up with more water thereby giving the source more force. It is during this period that the waterfall is strikingly beautiful in its vivid colours. Lequarci Waterfall feeds many small lakes at its foot. In summer, the water level drops sharply.
Another landmark of the region, the cave of Su Marmuri, sits not far from Lequarci.
