Fountain of Pillotta, Parma

Fountain of Pillotta (Fontana Pilotta) in Parma is part of the design of one of the central city squares. It perfectly complements the rear side of the façade of the palace with the same name – Pillotta. The fountain is large, but still looks more like a pond. It is unusual that trees are planted in round concrete tanks with earth in the middle of it. It is always crowded near the fountain due to its location.

How to get there

The fountain is located in the center of Parma, on Piazza della Pace. In the immediate vicinity there are the museums of Bodoni and Lombardi. Nearby there is also a bus stop Teatro Regio, which can be reached every hour by routes 1, 2, 2N, 15.
