San Pietro Paradiso Waterfall, Maracalagonis
Cascata di San Pietro Paradiso is a natural landmark of Sardinia in the Maracalagonis region. Located in a mountainous region known as the seven mountain brothers in the southern part of the island, it is rich in archaeological sites and natural beauties. San Pietro Paradiso is located at an altitude of 255 m above sea level. Its height is 7.5 m. The cascade flows into a pond of about 8x10 m in size.
How to get there
It is necessary to drive through the tunnel and turn right at the new 125 exit to get to the waterfall of San Pietro Paradiso from Cagliari. At the crossroads, a sign indicates the turn towards the seven mountain-brothers.
A dirt road located opposite a small lake leads to the waterfall. The ascent is not high and is easily accessible even for untrained tourists. There is also a small green area where you can relax and dine.
