Molosiglio Garden, Naples

The Molosiglio Garden is a city park in the Western part of Naples, located in the San Ferdinando area, between the ferry terminal and the seafront. The garden was designed and built in the 1920s, according to the plan for the reconstruction of the coastal zone of Naples. The area of ​​the park is 21000 square meters. It has several large monumental fountains – the Fontana dei Papiri, the fountain of Lions and others.

Also in the park there is a Monument to Fanti, established in honor of the soldiers who died during the bitter battles of World War II. The monument is a large column, around which there are five blocks depicting the five largest battles of the war.

The large-scale reconstruction of the park zone was completed in 2012. According to the new project, the park area was increased by 500 square meters, as well as a lot of flower beds and 250 trees were planted. The future project of the city authorities is to create another major fountain.

The Molosiglio Garden is located in the city of Naples, you can get there by public transport, which follows the routes:
