Via Monte Napoleone

Via Montenapoleone - this is one of the most beautiful and luxurious streets in the center of Milan. It contains the most exclusive shops, boutiques famous haute couture houses, antique shops and elegant cafés. 

History Via Montenapoleone began in the 5-4 century BC, when in place of the street passed the moat. Later there appeared a quarter of the monastery, and in the late 18th century on the site of the monastery buildings were built houses of wealthy citizens of Milan. Today, the long street is only 500 meters, but it is completely built designer shops. Its sidewalks are not green space and traffic on the roadway is carried out only in one direction. Almost all the buildings of the street were built in a neoclassical style. 

To get to the Via Montenapoleone is a walking, walking through the old part of Milan, or on any public transport, going through the center of the city.
