Rhaetian Railway

Rhaetian Railway is a network of narrow-gauge railways. It consists of two branches, the first of which was built in 1903 and called the Albula, the second opened a little later, in 1910, and is known as the Bernina. Construction was carried out in order to develop tourism. The railway passes through the territory of Switzerland, the station Thusis in the canton of Grisons, and in Italy, to the Italian town of Tirano.
